Brooklyn Heights 1 & 2 in River Mill, Cambridge

Brooklyn Heights 1 & 2, a community of 113 three story, two-and-three bedroom towns ranging in size from 1360 sqft – 1930 sqft, and in the heart of the master planned River Mill community in Cambridge, Ontario, is full steam ahead on construction.

Having SOLD OUT of both communities over the course of two separate weekends in the Spring and Fall of 2020, Starward Homes, the lead builder of this community, has been working hard to service the land and build the homes with one goal in mind – provide a beautiful home for our clients as soon as possible.

Phase 1, with 63 towns, is framed out to the second floor with 3^rd floor walls well under way. Phase 2, across the street, is working on underground servicing, which includes water, storm and sanitary sewers; string line is also up for the curbs and asphalt to be installed.

As is the norm everywhere, Covid played a large role in our construction process, however, we’re seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and we’re proud of our team and our homeowners in the face of such unusual times. Not unlike all companies, Starward out of necessity became very nimble with change and innovation to handle the COVID impact to ensure our homeowners can move in as quickly – and safely – as possible.

River Mill (just north of the 401 in Cambridge off of Maple Grove Rd) , the backdrop for this beautiful neighbourhood, is continuing to grow. Two of the three parks have been completed with plans for a third park, a dedicated school and additions to the already 9km of hiking, biking and walking trails well underway.
